Mont Saint-Grégoire is one of the Montérégie hills. The climb is relatively steep, but lasts just an hour. The summit offers us an unobstructed 360 degree view of the surrounding plains, we see downtown Montreal, the other Montérégiennes, the Adirondacks, the White Mountains and several surrounding municipalities. The well-marked hiking trails cross this little mountain with ramps, stairs, gazebo and several interpretive panels pertinant. The Panorama Trail leads us to the summit. You return by the path of The Quarry where you can see the remains of an old mine essexite with old machinery and cranes. We can observe several bird species.
