Located on the banks of the Outaouais River, Sandy Beach Nature Park offers natural surroundings and unique ecology in terms of biodiversity…Wetlands, swamps, fallows, a beach and the Viviry stream open up to the Outaouais River benefitting the presence of wildlife and widely varied animal species. Nearly 2 kilometres of walking trails, an observation platform and picnic areas that will please nature lovers as well as ornithologists. Despite the no swimming policy, the beach gives you the occasion to practice certain water sports, such as canoeing and kayaking.
