Named after the legend of Father Coton, the mountain of the same name invites you to borrow a footpath with a length of 2 km (return) amount at an altitude of 150 meters above the sea level, giving access at the top. These geological formations made of massive quartzite sandstone are a peculiarity of the region and give it its charm. The trail has a pronounced ascent lasting about 30 minutes. In addition, several lookouts offer views breathtaking city of Saint-Pascal, the plains, the river and the Charlevoix region. The latter consists of a gazebo picnic area and offers a memorable panorama. Plan your visit at sunset, you will be dazzled by the splendor of the landscape! Parking, rest areas, interpretive signs, including the legend of Father Coton, and picnic tables on site.
