Honours those from the town of Montreal West who died in the First World War.

Near City Hall, on Westminster Street, corner of Avon St., Montréal.

This statue was sculpted by G.W. Hill, and erected in 1921 in memory of the sons of Montréal West who gave their lives in the Great War. A wall of remembrance for the heros of both World Wars stands behind the statue.

The inscriptions on the base of the statue read as follows:

Dedicated to the memory of the sons of Montreal West, who gloriously laid down their lives in the Great War and in honour forevermore of all those who served therein. This tribute is erected with full hearts by their fellow-citizens. 1914-1918.

The Wall of Remembrance lists the names of the many more soldiers from the Montreal.
