The Museum looks at Canadian military history, in particular that of the 12e Régiment blindé du Canada founded in Trois-Rivières in 1871 and that took part in several battles and military campaigns in Sicily, Italy, and Holland during the Second World War. 2013 Summer Exhibition: “Sicily ’43”, the Trois-Rivières Regiment’s participation in the Sicily and Italy campaigns (1943-1945) during the Second World War. Admire numerous collections of military objects ranging from the early 19th century to present day, including firearms, knives, military headgear, medals and decorations, uniforms and equipment.
