Shefford ( Cantons-de-l'Est )

The park is located on the foothills of Mount Shefford. This conservation area of 152 acres is furrowed by 6.3 km of hiking trails. The purpose of the park is focused on protecting the natural environment and nature observation. Hiking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing are regularly practiced there. The western part of the park is mostly covered by a swamp and two small lakes fed by the water during Deschamps. The game consists of a dense, mature forest. Several streams cross or run along the trails and a small waterfall creates a unique atmosphere for hikers. Mont Shefford account peaks reaching 500 meters and is part Monteregian.
