The Fête des neiges de Montréal 2013

Montreal ( Montréal )

The Fête des neiges de Montréal is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2013, more reason than ever to invite families to come and play outdoors and enjoy a wide array of activities at Parc Jean-Drapeau. This popular winter event will be staged over three consecutive weekends, from January 19 to February 3, 2013, and it is returning with such features as tube sliding, the zip-line, dog sledding, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, boot and ice hockey, snow-scootering, skating along the river, and - a reminder to everyone - the on-site presence of the fabulous Snow Village.

The popular mascot Boule de Neige and his many friends will be welcoming visitors to the event, while comedian Yan England will also be part of the Fête, as he again serves as its spokesperson. To discover the many aspects of winter in Montréal, the Fête des neiges is a get-together you don’t want to miss. And it’s so easy to get there by subway!
