Centre de la Biodiversité du Québec

Bécancour ( Centre-du-Québec )

The Centre de la Biodiversité has pursued its mission to educate both young people and adults making them aware of the existence, as well as the conservation of Québec’s biological species, while at the same time underscoring the importance of the sustainable development of our planet. Visit with snakes, turtles, otters, frogs, fish, raccoons and other live animals accompanied by a qualified guide. Against the backdrop of the film Seasons of the Lake and along the sensory corridor, enjoy a guided tour of Lac SaintPierre’s biodiversity. Open year-round, the centre will appeal to young and old alike. Winter and summer, enjoy 4 km (2.5 mi.) of groomed trails on foot or on snowshoe. Just 15 minutes from Trois-Rivieres and about 90 minutes from Quebec City and Montreal, the Centre is easily accessible, alone, with friends, family, or group, to see, touch and feel the biodiversity!
