It is the largest wooded area from plantations (over 30 square kilometers) on the south shore of the Saint-Laurent between Montreal and Quebec. The Sanctuary along the majestic Saint-François River. This is a plantation forest, accessible to the public, where there is practically no longer cuts. For residents of Drummondville, it is a popular place of relaxation, where you can try hiking and cycling in summer and cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snow tubing in the winter. With Drummond forest, the two sides of this important rivers are protected from exploitation. This protection, combined with murmurs quick, give this place a cozy atmosphere. There are also extraordinary panoramas, several gazebos and picnic areas.
