Le Massif de Charlevoix is a ski center that overlooks the St. Lawrence River in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, 70 km northeast of Quebec City. Le Massif de Charlevoix is located near the village of Petite-Rivière-Saint-François. The resort has the highest vertical drop in Eastern Canada. The range is distinguished by the fact that it is accessible by both the top and the base. There are three peaks but only two are currently operating. Le Massif gets a lot of snow and little rain for the eastern station. The abundant natural snow made it is not uncommon to have more than 240 cm of compacted snow in the tracks at the top.
