Métabetchouane Historical and Archaeological Center
Come discover the history of life at the mouth of the Métabetchouane river through archaeology. This centre features barter and archaeological objects, and a rebuilt Hudson’s Bay Company trading post as part of the permanent exhibition. Another exhibition discusses the life and works of the Jesuit priest Jean de Quen in 1647. The summer program includes a range of outdoor activities dealing with various historical or heritage themes.
