Parc de l'île Lebel

Repentigny ( Lanaudière )

With nearly 20 hectares, the park Lebel Island is an extraordinary natural environment on the shores of the St Lawrence River. By its strategic location, the site is a recreation and tourism destination for lovers of nature and hiking, bird watchers and sports as well as being a place for meetings and events. Come take the air in a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere and observe what nature offers us better!

Park Island Lebel is a perfect habitat for some birds. Richard Prevost, photographer and amateur bird referenced a multitude seen on the site, some of which are very rare (a purple heron in 2008 and a couple of mockingbirds in 2006) species.
