The flora of the Bois Robert is one of the most diverse in eastern Canada, with more than 27 species of trees and shrubs such as maple, oak, beech and hickory oval and more than 350 plants. In the spring, it is possible to discover an interesting variety of flowers such as érytrome the uvulars, red trillium, wild violets and Samolus.

The Robert Wood is accredited to the organization “Wild Life Habitat” whose role is to protect woodland and forests. Few North American woodland offer many floral varieties and Bois Robert is one of them. Over 10 km of trails are accessible to practice different activities. In winter, snowshoeing and cross country skiing trails are managed.

Access to Bois Robert is now done exclusively through the main entrance, near the workshops of Public Works, at 50, rue des Hauts-Fourneau.
