Parcours Missisquoi Nord

Eastman ( Cantons-de-l'Est )

Still pristine in its magnificence, the Missisquoi Nord Valley offers idyllic opportunity to those who will adventure off the beaten track. Ever changing pastoral charm and natural beauty will reward you at each turn on your path be it drifting lazily on the river under a canopy of silver maples, hiking in splendid autumn colour on a mountain side or crunching steadily on crisp new snow. Exceptional natural beauty abounds in this Valley, nestled by mountainside and gentle slope. Yet, each component ecosystem is fragile, and it is our shared responsibility to protect and preserve such treasure while enjoying its gift to us. A little time, a bit of effort and some physical stamina will allow full enjoyment of what this Valley has to offer the sports minded. Kayak or paddle the river, explore a network of all-season hiking trails or pedal your way along country roads. The access to the river and bike pathways and to the hiking trails linking the main villages of the valley to already existing networks belonging to partner associations are free of charge except for the Sentiers de l’Estrie and the Réserve naturelle des Montagnes-Vertes networks, where fees apply. Closed during hunting season.

Access road Highway 10 e. 106, Road 112, Road 245, Road 243
