Lighthouse Borgot is a coastal installation of navigational aids built in 1987, this structure is composed of a circular tower of plastic. At its top is octagonal lantern headed a low slope roof. Protected by a metal railing gallery belt it. Lighthouse Borgot is surrounded by red sandstone cliffs on the tip of Cape Hérissé. It is located slightly behind the village of L’Etang-du-Nord, in the municipality of Îles-de-la-Madeleine. This property is city heritage building.

The architecture of the lighthouse Borgot is simple and uncluttered. The monolithic structure is composed of a round circular plane white plastic. At its top is octagonal lantern painted red umbrella and a low-pitched roof. Protected by a metal railing around the lantern gallery. The concealed door at the base of the tower is the only opening. Lighthouse Borgot is quoted in 2006 and is still functional, and an observation area is set around the building for visitors.
